Imagine mixing Led Zeppelin, James Brown, the Doors, The Rapture, and The
Datsuns into one fiery musical cocktail. This would sound quite like the
explosive and highly intoxicating music of the Lower Class Citizens. Rising from
the shores of Ocean City, MD, they have begun their campaign to conquer not
only the east coast, the entire world as a whole. After five years of playing
together, the LCC have developed a tight sound in which all four players have
developed a flow of musical thought which ignites on stage. Their love of music
drives their ambition to create and perform to their fullest every time they play.
The LCC are dedicated in their effort to expand their horizons while staying true
to their roots; combining rock, funk, and blues genres to make sure that while
listeners sing along they have a strong urge to dance as well. They strive to
make a solid connection between band and audience. In the summer of 2003 the
LCC entered the studio to record their debut EP entitled “Electric Euphoria” at
Clay Creek Studio in Newark, Delaware. Various singles off this EP have
received substantial air play from regional radio stations and have been
featured on XM satellite radio’s unsigned station (Ch. 52). They continue to play
dates in all over the east coast in an effort to spread their music like the plague,
while they finish up new material for their upcoming release.
The Lower Class Citizens are the future of music. Keep your eyes and ears
peeled because the LCC will soon be invading a town near you
